2006 (Youth)

In 2006, Matisyahu released Youth and Youth Dub.  Both works were released on March 7, 2006 through JDub Records and Epic.  Matisyahu's backing band Roots Tonic, released an instrumental dub album with Youth producer, Bill Laswell, titled Roots Tonic Meets Bill Laswell.  This Roots Tonic album was released on May 9, 2006 through ROIR.

*The title track Youth and King Without a Crown were released as singles and both studio tracks had music videos.

*Additional studio tracks also recorded during the Youth sessions were Warrior and Chop 'Em Down.  Warrior was released as an online single, however, did not end up on the final tracklisting.  These two tracks would later appear on Matisyahu's No Place to Be CD/DVD.

*Roots Tonic, as Matisyahu's backing band, were soon disbanded in 2007, leaving Aaron Dugan with Matisyahu on guitar, until January 2010.
*Bill Laswell and Josh Werner produced Lee "Scratch" Perry's 2011 release Rise Again.  Select tracks also feature Aaron Dugan on guitar.  Lee "Scratch" Perry is regarded as one of main creators of dub music.
